One of the dangers of having a web site is that your email is accessible to complete strangers. A recent visitor to my Life Drawing Page unwillingly sent me the SirCam Virus which I stupidly ran and which I also stupidly tried to get rid of without reading about it. Fortunately, with the help of Craig, I was able to clean up my computer and keep the fun rollin’.

And speaking of fun. I have added a new full-color image to my art gallery! This one is my illustration which will appear on the cover of Lumpen Magazine here in Chicago. The magazine can usually be picked up for free at local independent retailers, or, as has happened to me, bought from a crafty derelict for a handful of change.

From the get go I have tried hard not to make this site into a web log. However, I have recently been added as a member to House8.net. The site is supposed to be a, forgive the sickening term, “web community” of Chicago based artists, designers, etc. My site will remain the content-rich Internet oasis it has always been, but now, when I feel the need to post a random link, I will be posting it on the House8 web log. I am tempted to screw with them and post the same stupid link every day in huge type, but I want to keep the few friends I have.

It’s that time of year again… Easter Time! Please go and check out Easter Fun, a site that I helped put together last year. While you are there, don’t forget to check out The Stations of the Cross in Pixel Vision for a teeny, tiny, pixel-sized rendition of the passion.

Ever since I taught at the University of Wisconsin, I have maintained a web site for my drawing classes. The site has bounced around during the years. This weekend, after updating many of the pages, I have relocated my Life Drawing Pages. No more pop ups, no more slow connections, just pure educational fun.
