Well done Kung-Fu flick about a retarded girl who knows how to fight.

Tokyo Gore Police (6/10)

Posted on Jun. 29, 2009 - 5:22 pmOct. 13, 2020 - 9:59 pm

Japanese splatter. Despite the gore, it gets boring pretty quickly.

The French Sex Murders (7/10)

Posted on Jun. 29, 2009 - 5:21 pmNov. 14, 2022 - 3:08 pm

Mediocre giallo from Dick Randall and Mondo Macabro.

UPDATE: This one really grows on you when you realize how crazy it all is despite the lack of traditional giallo style.

The Dark Knight (9/10)

Posted on Jun. 29, 2009 - 5:21 pmSep. 21, 2020 - 5:22 pm

Even better than Batman Begins.

Sabata (8/10)

Posted on Jun. 29, 2009 - 5:20 pmSep. 21, 2020 - 5:20 pm

A better-than-most Spaghetti Western with high-flying acrobatics.

Sukiyaki Western Django (9/10)

Posted on Jun. 29, 2009 - 5:20 pmSep. 21, 2020 - 5:20 pm

Super stylish Japanese tribute to Spaghetti Westerns. Only hindered by the thick Japanese accents.

Wall-E (8/10)

Posted on Jun. 29, 2009 - 5:19 pmSep. 21, 2020 - 5:19 pm

A fun movie but it felt shallow in the the end to me.

El Orfanato (The Orphanage) (8/10)

Posted on Jun. 29, 2009 - 5:19 pmSep. 21, 2020 - 5:19 pm

Very good ghost story from the producers of Pan’s Labyrynth.

The Heart Is Deceitful Above All Things (6/10)

Posted on Jun. 29, 2009 - 5:18 pmSep. 21, 2020 - 5:19 pm

Dark story of child abuse and drugs.

Get Carter (7/10)

Posted on Jun. 29, 2009 - 5:18 pmSep. 21, 2020 - 5:18 pm

Still not sure what I think of this. A brutal character study of an anti-hero with a confusing plot.
