My Flash cartoon, The Ajenda Creativity Engine, won first place (category: Entertainment/Games) in Chicago's Association for Multimedia Communication's first annual FlashFest. Second place in this category went to Rick Carton's (of Carton Cartoons) ultra-slick video for the band Cane Corso, which went on to win Best of Show.
The site XHTML transistion is complete. There's nothing new here but please check out a Flash cartoon I created at work.
The transition to XHTML is almost complete. The entire site has been changed to XHTML. However, not all the pages validate yet. I am going through page by page and fixing bugs tonight.
This site is creeping into the twenty-first century. I have begun the translating the code for all these pages to XHTML and have completely separated style from content with a <table> free, CSS layout!
I've added some scans of some wood engravings I made to my art gallery. These babys are for sale! Cheap! Cheap! Cheap!
My wife, Wika, and I had artwork on display in this exhibition back in October of 2001. The show was made up of various students, faculty, and their spouses from Dr. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, which use to be located at the corner of Oak and Dearborn in Chicago's Gold Coast neighborhood.
Mark your calendars! Wika and I will have art on display at the Dr. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine during the month of October. The opening reception is on Friday, October 5th from 3pm-6pm. Drinks and other goodies will be served. Be there or be square.
After much trial and error I have retooled how Flash animations are inserted into my web pages. There were problems with animations not appearing on Macs or in Opera 5. If you have Flash 4 and still cannot view the movies drop me a line and please let me know what browser and platform you are using.
A bouncing brain!
Holy macaroni! I've added a new music review!
One of the dangers of having a web site is that your email is accessible to complete strangers. A recent visitor to my Life Drawing Page unwillingly sent me the SirCam Virus which I stupidly ran and which I also stupidly tried to get rid of without reading about it. Fortunately, with the help of Craig, I was able to clean up my computer and keep the fun rollin'.
A little something gets lost in the translation when our friends across the Pacific try to write in English.
This page now has a flash movie on it! Aren't you lucky!
From the get go I have tried hard not to make this site into a web log. However, I have recently been added as a member to House8.net. The site is supposed to be a, forgive the sickening term, "web community" of Chicago based artists, designers, etc. My site will remain the content-rich Internet oasis it has always been, but now, when I feel the need to post a random link, I will be posting it on the House8 web log.
